All of you are Minato obsessed. Instead of whining about one small part of the whole movie, look at the big picture. The storyline was somewhat more advanced and it was a decent movie overall, certainly better than dull first movie.

He joins after the initial battle and is present for the fight against Dubhe, which is still "the very beginning of the game". I never said Joe was removed from the anime, I meant that he has not been introduced in the show yet.

Except you're wrong. The initial party is formed of the 3 highschoolers and Joe joins in later. You can even see Joe in the intro.
